Yahoo Messenger services to stop from July 17

The subsidiary of Verizon, a telecommunications company operating in Oath, Yahoo, announced the final wrapping of Yahoo Messenger with services ending on July 17.

“Yahoo Messenger will not be supported after July 17, 2018. By then, you can continue to use the service as normal. After 17th July, you will no longer be able to access your chat and the service will no longer work, “Yahoo said in a statement on Friday.

The company said, “There is currently no replacement product available for Yahoo! Messenger,” the company said that it is constantly experimenting with new services and apps, one of which is ‘Invitation Only Group’ The message that is currently in beta form.

“Squirrel” is a group messaging app Yahoo started testing last month.

Yahoo said that for the next six months, users would be able download their chat history to their personal computer or device.
