2. 3 Idiots (2009)
Rajkumar Hirani, who has got all the capability to convey a very powerful message to the public at large that too with satire. Its storyline will definitely end you up liking it. It has dealt with a lot of points such as a poor family expectations from their child who is studying engineering and at the same time his interest lies in some other field. It is worth mentioning Amir Khan’s performance, splendid.
3. Dhamaal (2007)
This film has been directed by Indra Kumar and comes up such hilarious scenes and takes that one would end up rolling on the floor. 4. HUNGAMA (2003)
This movie has been directed by Priyadarshan and is based on a very infamous novel of Charles Dicken “The Strange Gentlemen” This movie is in toto a sarcastic and comedy and it deserves to be on your list. A village girl ends up arriving at Mumbai in search of a job.Subsequently, she discovers that she needs to have a husband in order to accommodate herself.
5. Hera Pheri (2000)
This is one of cult classic movies of all time. Akshay Kumar is the man who brings in the sense of comedy with his witty remarks, jokes and comments. The movie turns out to be more interesting when all of them (Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty) receive calls from the underworld. It is a movie you can get never bored of.
6. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro (1983)
Directed by Kundan Shah who has very splendidly managed to keep the tone way too light on such serious issues. The movie revolves around the dark side of politics, media and bureaucracy. The movie starts getting interesting from the very moment when Naseeruddin Shah and Ravi Baswani turn out to the murderer.
7. GOL MAAL (1979)
Directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It is one of the masterpieces ever produced in the Hindi cinema. One very interesting thing to note here is that – the movie comes up with a funny jingle “Sab Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai” and it wouldn’t let your smile fade away.
8. Bombay to Goa (1972)
Once you add some adventure stuff to a comic stuff the end results will be Bombay to Goa in a go. The hilarious tone involved in this movie along with Amitabh Bachchan’s charisma is something which keeps the movie ongoing.
9. Padosan (1968)
It is a comic-drama movie which is indeed going to keep you being occupied for the rest of the day. Just in case, you want to watch Sunil Dutt’s and Saira Banu their epic performances, do watch this movie. A bit lengthy movie but absolutely worth watching and pretty much stress relieving too.
10. Chalti Ka Naam Gaddi (1958)
Directed by Satyen Bose and is one of his classic movies. The plot of the movie is quite engaging while complying with the standards of decent family entertainment. It is way too difficult to segregate comedy and cinema from this movie.
