Finally the most anticipated film of the year is out in the cinemas and perhaps it is the most expensive film of the Indian cinema and the biggest release so far with over 5000 screens across the country. The film had the strongest cast one could think off. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were coming together for the first time with Fatima Sana Shaikh as the lead heroine. Katrina Kaif also had a cameo in the movie but as a matter of fact, nothing of the above mentioned plus points were able to impress because the film had a weak script.
The biggest drawback of the film is over the top acting from Aamir Khan and some really poor VFX done by YRF. Film is based in the last 1795 and as per that time span, the costumes and the locations are also poor. The dialogues of the film are not engaging at all and moreover the action sequences are not good enough as well. The plot of the film is too much dragged and the role of Kartina Kaif is forced to be a part of the script just to add a crisp in the trailer.
Audience were expecting the film to be as good as any Aamir Khan film but this time Aamir could not fulfill the expectations. Director Vijay Krishna Acharya have disappointed as well with his below average direction. We will go with a 2 star rating out of 5 for this epic disaster by YRF.
